A short film based on the monolog THE DESTRUCTION ARTIST by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Cunningham.

Michael Sharpe is an up and coming director whose films include an award-winning 2011 horror short titled DEVILING and his latest short THE DESTRUCTION ARTIST based on the monologue by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Cunningham. THE DESTRUCTION ARTIST marks Sharpe's second collaboration with actor Robert Haulbrook who portrays the artist who describes how he went from destroying his own mediocre canvases to inviting female victims of violence to enact violence upon himself. Cunningham personally congratulated the actor on his "remarkable performance" and granted Sharpe permission to release the film.
