Synopsis
Nearly 70,000 tons of steel from the World Trade Center was shipped across the globe to India after September 11. Dozens of smelting towns will reprocess the scrap metal into resources we hope to be progressive.
About the director
Mahyar is a Colorado native who didn't want to stop skiing the snowy mountains until he received his architecture degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Since then, he has moved to California and is slowly learning to surf, however, he has been told at least once to get out of the water. Fortunately, his animation and 3D modeling experience guided him into filmmaking where he graduated from the University of Southern California, School of Cinema-Television. He recently did some brief animation for a feature film (Yaji-Kita, 2005) in Tokyo and will be moving north to pursue a career as a Layout Technical Director at PIXAR Animation Studios in 2005.
