Synopsis

A lone female census taker working in the valleys of Wales has one last questionnaire to complete, but when her car breaks down at a remote cottage, the day takes an unexpected twist, leaving only one question to answer: How bad can a bad day get?

About the director

Having built an international reputation within the animation industry as a respected animator and versatile director, Phil Dale was eager to bring his enthusiasm, vision, and strong story telling skills to the new challenges of live action film making. The Census Taker being his debut film. His years spent working in animation, where movement, performance and detail are so important, were a great training ground, and have helped shape him as a film-maker.
