WBFF - RAW2000EDITION & Webcinema at the Commodore

The WBFF ~the chameleon~ announces that Saturday June 26 from 10am to 1pm RAW2000EDITION will host the "Digital Pitch Conference" by Webcinema at the Commodore Theatre.

Webcinema' director Jonathan Sarno said: "Global Pitch is a new way to finance feature films via the internet and the first of a series of evolving experiments in online film finance as a follow up to our conference on Online Film Finance".

During the conference a panel of investors from the New York New Media community will be joined by traditional film investors, accredited "high worth" individuals, leading distributors, and producers. A limited number of NYC production companies will have the opportunity to present their projects for financing to the panel and screen trailers or "work-in-progress" footage.

All the projects must be features - documentary or dramatic - have a screenplay or in the case of a documentary, an outline, a budget, business plan and a web site with steaming video. Priority will be given to filmmakers using new media production techniques and/or a track record in producing successful feature films, either critically or commercially.

Webcinema is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the independent filmmaker using internet new media technologies to finance, create, produce, distribute, and market independent film.
