About the director
Mackie Mallison is a filmmaker living and working in Brooklyn, NY. His work has been screened by The Obama White House, Adobe, and in film festivals across the world including New York Film Festival at Lincoln Center and BFI London Film Festival. In his practice, he often explores the unraveling of memory, family, intersections of race, class, cross-generational binds and his personal relationships with them. He is a current member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective, Video Consortium, and a recipient of the Adobe Creativity Scholarship with a BFA in Film at Pratt Institute.
