2023 Brooklyn Film Festival

The 26th BFF will run from June 2 through 11. The festival will present about 150 films in competition. On June 11, BFF will announce the award winners.


2023 Film Submissions. Deadlines.

To take advantage of the Early Bird low submission fee, act before November 30, 2022. Regular Deadline will be on January 5, 2023. Advance Deadline, January 31. Late Deadline, February 25. And Extended (final) Deadline will be on March 13. Click on this box to start the submission process.


10 Days of Local and International Films

Every year the festival presents about 150 projects over the course of ten days. The films play both at physical venues and online. Submissions come from all over the World. The selected films play in competition. The winners, besides the BFF Certificate, take at home collectively $50,000 in prizes (cash, products, services). Click for Awards Breakdown.

On June 12, 2022, BFF awarded and assigned prizes to 30 filmmakers during the Award Ceremony at Windmill Studios. POUR L’AMOUR picked up the Grand Chameleon Award and won Best Narrative Feature.
