BFF Exchange 2026 - Pitch Competition Winners
During the Documentary Day (Wednesday, June 3), BFF Exchange panels discussed sports, law and contracts, music. Congratulations to the winner of the Short Doc Pitch competition, Neha Aziz, whose film Wagah now has a guaranteed screening slot in BFF 2027! The Narrative Day (Thursday, June 4) focused on narrative filmmaking with panels discussing casting, writing for the screen, and film funding along with the Narrative Pitch Competition. Congratulations to the winner of the Brooklyn Exchange Final Pitch Competition, The Fall by Kiana Rawji! Our student pitch winner was Would You Hold Me Just One Last Time by Myles Jackson. An honorable mention went to It Can't Be You by Nawal Mubin.

2026 BFF Lineup Announced
The 2026 Brooklyn Film Festival runs from May 29 to June 7, 2026 featuring 11 narrative features, 7 documentary features, 50 narrative shorts, 17 documentary shorts, 24 animated films and 21 experimental films. Our venue partners are BRIC Arts Media, 100 Sutton Studios and Wythe Hotel. BFF Exchange, our industry event, will run June 3 and 4 at the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema.
