About the director

James Biberi is an Albanian American actor, director and writer based in New York City. As an actor he’s most known for Drive with Ryan Gosling, Dead Man Down with Colin Farrell, Ocean’s Eight with Sandra Bullock and most recently as Lt. Smith in Hightown on the Starz Network. Forgive Me Father is his directorial debut.

Filmmaker's note

Forgive Me Father was inspired by true events while growing up as a kid in the Kingsbridge section of Bronx, New York. As a young adult, I became aware of rumors that had been hidden for years. Childhood trauma has long lasting effects that negatively impact a child’s road to adulthood. I’d like to dedicate this film to everyone touched by childhood trauma and abuse.
