Synopsis
A reflection on the medical condition of menorrhagia and shame surrounding it.
About the director
Claire Maske is an artist and filmmaker whose work blends documentary and studio art practices to explore themes of illness, grief, and death. She is largely interested in the body and all the ways it can mutate, deviate, and, ultimately, fail. Currently completing an MFA in Film and Media Art at Emerson College, her work has screened at major film festivals including DOC NYC and Hot Springs International Documentary festival.
