About the director
Eddie writes, directs & acts and the Guinness World Records says he's the first gay man to do so (we live in a post-truth world). Eddie's from Australia and while the reality-star-to-president-pipeline was what initially drew him to the US., he stayed for the Universal health care. He comes from an acting background (sorry), and was on Broadway in shows such as The Book of Mormon and Harmony and Wicked to name exactly three. When his body got sick of doing six-hundred performances of the same show, it started a war of attrition against his spirit. That's when Eddie turned to writing and directing and other things that allowed him to sit down. Short films he directed and wrote have been acquired by Prime Video, TINY, Dekko and Shorts.TV. As a playwright, Eddie most recently won the Australian Theatre Festival New Play Award for his play CIRC, about a dude getting an elective circumcision only to be faced with his foreskin in human form demanding answers. Eddie also works as a speech writer and adviser to a former Australian Premier in New York where he writes speeches on everything from SpaceTech to Veterans Affairs but nothing about circumcision.
Filmmaker's note
This film is a love letter to my most annoying friends, all of whom are actors.
