Filmmaker's note
When everything unraveled at 29 — job, relationships, family health — I found myself at a loss, unsure of what stories I even wanted to tell. To lift my spirits, my family threw me a surprise birthday celebration. Their tired smiles over a barely decorated, store-bought cake reminded me of something vital: even amid chaos, love persists, flawed but real. That evening inspired "Two Sisters," a story born from the beauty and mayhem of family.
"Two Sisters" dives into the everyday absurdity and tenderness of sibling relationships, exploring the clashes, impulsive acts, and unsparing affection that often shape family bonds. This film isn’t about picture-perfect harmony; it’s about the messy, genuine moments when grace and resilience collide. "Two Sisters" is, at its core, a tale of tough love and the humor that keeps us sane.
