Synopsis
18-year-old Anna trustfully follows her beating heart, opening the door to her first romantic relationship – with a clingy couch. As that relationship comes to an end, followed by several other dramatic breakups, Anna and her heart grapple with the intense heartache that failed love has caused them.
As they then, after what seemed like a perfect one-night stand, get thrown out of a bed rather harshly, something has to change.
About the director
With her signature style of mixing the narrative and the poetic, animation director Aisha Madu (1992) moves between different domains: art, illustration, design, film, and the internet. She’s considered to be one of the Netherlands' greatest animation talents, with a Dutch Design Week display, Animation Sans Frontières participation, The Animation Workshop residency, KLIK Festival’s Student Award, and a successful web series under her belt.
