About the director
As long as he can remember, Adam Glickfield has been captivated by movies. As a young kid growing up in suburban Detroit making alt versions of his favorite films on his dad's camcorder, Adam began the love affair with storytelling that he has woven through the rest of his life and career.
Adam is the Creative Director and owner of Very True Story, a design and animation studio based out of Oakland, California, which he runs with his wife and business partner. While the majority of work is geared towards marketing and UX, Adam flexes his creative muscle in both client projects, as well as creating short form content for social that better reflects his personality and ethos.
Filmmaker's note
I have always gravitated towards content that can be a bit creepy - exploring and integrating ideas of the every day with those of the otherwordly. After a recent trip to have my pup's teeth cleaned, I thought about how terrifying it must be for dogs, whom intrinsically trust us, to be put into a situation that feels, well, alien, by their loved ones.
