Synopsis
SAUNA DAY invites you into the world of Southern Estonian men who go to the dark-intimate space of a smoke sauna after a hard day's work. Beneath their tough exteriors lies a desire for connection, veiled in secrecy.
About the directors
Anna Hints - Anna Hints is an Estonian film director deeply rooted in the culture of South Estonia, yet for 5 years her second home has been India. She studied literature and folklore and has a degree in Photography and Film Directing. Filmography: Smoke Sauna Sisterhood (2023), Ice (2017).
Tushar Prakash - Tushar Prakash is an Indian filmmaker and graduate of Lodz’s National Polish Film School. He has been living in Estonia since 2020 and is currently working on a feature fiction film. Filmography: Jestem OK (2012), The Karma Killings (2016).
