Synopsis
After his birthday party, Nono waves goodbye to his friends. He’s left with a strange emptiness as things start to feel not quite right. A darkly whimsical coming-of-age tale about the fears and unspoken burdens we carry as we grow up.
About the director
Aerin Wu is a Chinese-Canadian filmmaker who graduated from the University of Southern California’s animation program. She enjoys telling stories that explore the surreal, often blending elements of darkness and humour.
