Filmmaker's note

I wrote Lunar Sway while deep in the throws of an unrequited love situation. I'd had the basic premise in mind for many years but had always pictured a very different version of the movie. One that didn't feel like mine to tell. But as I found myself looking for love in all the wrong places, the concept kept coming back to me. This time, I imagined a very different take on the story. One set in a remote desert town populated with eccentric misfits. Something about the moody setting captured all the chaos and absurdity swirling inside me at the time and it went from being a premise in the back of my mind to a movie I knew I had to make.
