The story of architect and artist Rafael Herrin-Ferri's work capturing the surprising beauty of New York City's largest borough. It's a personal story and a larger history about why Queens looks so strange and spectacular.
About the director
Sean Mowry is a filmmaker from Morristown, NJ and currently based in Queens, New York. His short documentary All the Queens Houses, is a photographic exploration of Queens’ unconventional architecture and reveals the borough’s beauty and history through the eyes of an architect. He has worked as an assistant editor for documentary, lifestyle, and food series for PBS, Showtime, Food Network and HGTV. He has also worked as a development manager for NorthSouth Productions where he developed pitches that were sold to HBO, Discovery+, and Channel 4.
