Dear Filmmaker,

Welcome to the 27th Brooklyn Film Festival!

Below are the instructions for selected films. It’s very important that you take action immediately and complete the steps below ASAP. Failure to complete the steps below in a timely manner will force us to withdraw your film from the festival and make your slot available to runner-up films.

The entire staff of the Brooklyn Film Festival would like to thank and congratulate you. We look forward to working with you!

5: review your film’s web page

Once your film’s web page is ready, we will let you know via email that is ready for your review. Please review immediately and either confirm all looks good or share feedback.

If changes are needed, you will be able to make any updates directly to the extent permitted by the editing tools. Keep in mind that it’s not allowed to write texts in non-Latin characters, therefore names originally written in different characters (i.e. Greek, Cyrillic, Coptic, Armenian, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Devanāgarī, etc.) will have to be transliterated into Latin characters with diacritics, UTF-8 encoding.

If in doubt or for special needs, email a detailed description of the changes you would like to have made. We will try to accommodate all requested changes if technically possible. For changes within a block of text such as the synopsis, the crew, the cast, or the bio, email the entire new corrected block and not just the changes. To ensure most prompt support and revisions, please make all changes yourself if possible.

When you find the film’s web page to be complete and accurate, please confirm via email to don@wbff.org by the deadline provided.

When you have confirmed that your page is complete and accurate, you can let everybody know that your film has been accepted into the 27th Brooklyn Film Festival and tart promoting your project. BFF laurels are at the bottom of this page.
