10,082 is a personal document on magician David Blaine and his sensationalistic act of burying himself alive for 7 days without food or water. Photographed at one frame per minute over the course of 12 hours, 10,082 is an expressionistic experiment for both filmmaker and subject . Submitting into meditative states, each breath and minute became an exercise in stillness for both. The result: A meditation on breathing & clausterphobia. 10,082 stands for the number of minutes Blaine spent buried alive.
