About the director
Born in Talas, Kyrgyzstan in 1957. Graduated in philology from Kyrgyz National University in Bishkek in 1980, subsequently studying at the Moscow Cinema Academy until 1984. He is co-writer of the international successful theatrical feature BESHKEMPIR. He lives in Bishkek where he works as writer and a director.
