About the director

As an artistic director and director, Amélie Bonnin's work lies at the border of different disciplines.

Graduated in graphic design (Olivier de Serres in Paris, UQAM in Montreal) and screenwriting (La Fémis), her projects combine graphics, drawing, writing and video.

She has notably directed the documentaries La mélodie du boucher (Arte - 2013) and La Bande des Français (France 3 - 2018 / co-directed with Aurélie Charon). Bye Bye is her first fiction.
