About the director
Kyle Sims is a filmmaker from Buffalo, NY.
His short film Our Boy premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2020 and was later distributed on the Slamdance Channel. It also won a National Board of Review Student Grant. His follow-up Galapagos premiered at the Aspen Shortsfest in 2023. On the rare occasion that he escapes from the strange worlds of his films, Kyle enjoys a pot of tea and a bit of collage.
