Synopsis
Amit Shahar is a bus driver that collects old buses. He grew up in Moshav Hatzeva and when his parents divorced he moved to the center of Israel with his mother. As a child, he missed his father and traveled by bus to visit him. During the bus rides to Hatzeva he made friends with the drivers. During this time he decided to become a bus driver. Collecting the buses symbolizes for him a complex and magical period that shaped him to be the man he is today.

About the director
I was born in Belgium and moved to Israel in my early teens, where I graduated from Ben-Shemen high-school. I live with my family in Moshav Faran, in the south of Israel. I studied music at Oranim College. Later on, I took filmmaking courses at the Open University in producing, editing, and directing. Since 1999 I am the head of the Community Television in the Arava region, where I reside. Every month I produce a 30-minute magazine, for channel 98, with the help of volunteers from the community.
