Synopsis
Documented in the Cotswolds in England, a fairytale life turns into a nightmare. A traumatic event at an air display festival haunts the minds of the two Wingwalkers and the airplane pilot involved. In an occupation that denies lapses in mental fortitude, daily scenes show how the three rely on each other to overcome their disaster and continue performing the skill that brings them the most joy.

About the director
Originally from Oregon with a degree in fashion design, Max Henderson now resides in New York City. Self taught, Max started exclusively as a video editor, learning what makes a good story by building them for others before setting off to make his own. Taking the knowledge gained in the edit room and applying it in the field, Max is constantly considering how his images will live together in sequence.
Filmmaker's note
It takes time to create relationships that allow you to sit and be comfortable with one another without talking or acknowledging each other. To shoot a fly on the wall documentary, you have to put in the time to be ignorable. The directorial role for “The Goldfish Club” had almost nothing to do with giving outward direction and everything to do with building a bond and recognizing when it was time to fade into the background.
