Synopsis

A young adult comes home to organize his father’s belongings and inadvertently finds his childhood VR goggles, which open up memories of the past. In his early childhood, his father died unexpectedly, leaving him without closure. Through the VR goggles, he discovers that he may have a second chance to say goodbye to his father.

About the directors

Jiaxing Yang - Jiaxing Yang is a 3D artist based in Atlanta, USA, specializing in 3D animation, lighting, and rendering. He is well-versed in the full 3D animation and motion media production pipeline. Jiaxing holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Animation from Purdue University. His animated shorts have been showcased at various film festivals and events. His thesis film, Forever, was completed in 2025 as part of his MFA studies at SCAD.

Xiaoxi Zhang - Xiaoxi Zhang is a 3D character animator with a master's degree in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and a bachelor's degree in computer arts from the School of Visual Arts (SVA). Her career spans roles as a 3D Gameplay Animator and Cinematic Animator, where she has honed her craft and developed expertise in motion capture and rigging technologies to elevate animation quality and production efficiency.
