Synopsis

The last remaining South Vietnamese naval officers reunite in California for the final time. Finding solace in the shared experience of their youth, they reconnect with the few people in the world who understand the complexities that shape them.

About the director

An-Phuong Ly is a production designer and art director based in DC. She’s worked in commercial advertising and indie films, designing the visual worlds for campaigns, shorts, and feature length projects. Her most recent role as production designer and executive producer for the short film, Cherry-Colored Funk, had its New York premiere at Tribeca Fest's first-ever Asian short film block. She makes her directorial debut with this short documentary.
