Dream Synth™
Director: Ryley O'Byrne

Synopsis
Dream Synth™ is an archive of our blooming relationship with Artificial Intelligence — a speculative meta-documentary exploring the importance of dreams and sensuality within an increasingly techno-mediated society. Imagine a near future in which humans have traded dreams for access to energy and an expansive virtual reality. But when machines begin to dream, humans must acknowledge the tragedy of their loss: perhaps dreams are more than random neural firings, they are the very essence of consciousness and the soul.
