Synopsis
STICK TO THE SCRIPT AND HOWL WILL KEEP YOU SAFE
This is mantra of the Ergons, a group of office workers convinced the only way to return to their home planet and benevolent leader Howl is by cold calling disgusting, evil Humans and scamming them out of their credit card information.
Penny is the office’s highest-performing, most-devoted member - and today, her winning streak is threatened by an unprecedented moment of kindness from a Human, forcing her off script and exploding her contained universe as she knows it.
Written by newcomer Emma Lenderman and starring Lenderman and two-time Tony nominee Gabriel Ebert, Cold Call is a freaky, pitch-black comedy about identity, community, and rebellion that reflects and refracts the absurd times we live in.
