Synopsis
A surrealist horror fantasy filmed on Kodak VISION3.
Two audio engineers create a sonic “infinity mirror” by cross‑wiring the circuitry of archaic analog gear. After years of trial and error, they finally make contact with an entity called The Walrus. As the entity seesaws through their bodies as a host, the encounter becomes an intimate triangle that unfolds in a single, unnerving conversation.
The charge that allows the spirit to transfer is laughter or, more specifically, the energetic subtext of their laughter.

About the director
Sarah Swire (They/She) is a multi-disciplinary artist with work spanning across stage, screen and television. They are an actor, writer, director, choreographer, and singer-songwriter.
Swire is repped by Amanda Rosenthal Talent Agency (Canada), Authentic Talent Management (USA), Infinity Artist Management (UK), and, for writing and literary fiction, they are repped by Dunlow, Carlson and Lerner (USA).
Noteworthy credits include series regular roles in critically acclaimed shows Ripple (Netflix), Interview With The Vampire (AMC, Netflix), The Last Frontier (Apple TV+), and recurring roles on The Boys (Amazon), Hudson and Rex, Frankie Drake, and Murdoch Mysteries (CBC).
Swire is an internationally established musical director, composer, choreographer, and creative director for both live and digital art. Musically, Swire has composed for BBC Scotland, the National Theatre of Scotland, Avalon Arts, and their debut art-rock concept album, Sister Swire, produced by Joel Plaskett. By the age of 25, Swire had creatively directed and choreographed shows at Radio City Music Hall, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, Scotland's Olympic Hydro Stadium, and Glastonbury Festival and for an impressive roster of international bands and entertainment industry heavyweights, including Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Orion Pictures, CBC, BBC, and the closing ceremonies of the Commonwealth Games. Alongside live stage direction, Swire has developed digital media for a notable list of internationally recognized artists, including Belle and Sebastian, Joel Plaskett, Snow Patrol, Roddy Hart & The Lonesome Fire, Mo Kenney, and Chastity.
Throughout their theatre career, Swire has frequently been contracted for multiple roles within the same production, often serving as both an actor and a composer/choreographer. This dual involvement is reflected in their screen work as well, with notable TV and film credits including Anna and the Apocalypse (Lead Actor & Choreographer), Frankie Drake (Guest Star & Choreographer), and God Help the Girl (Supporting Actor/Choreographer). Further examples of cross-disciplinary contracting can be seen in their resume.
Over the past decade, Swire has worked closely with Canadian directors and writers to create scripts that accurately depict mental health crisis recovery and neurodiversity. Their films have been shown to medical students and practitioners across Canada, and they have been used as reference and training videos for compassionate understanding and care by the faculty at the Canadian Association of Mental Health. Swire’s performance artwork has also been showcased at various exhibitions such as Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, Toronto's annual "Exposed Film" gallery, the National Gallery of Canada, and TIFF.
As a creative director and producer, Sarah curates art that encourages both abstract and critical thinking. By championing polarizing art that is ignored by commercial models, they hope to nurture new thought paradigms and subcultures eager for philosophical dialogue and big-picture thinking.
Swire is currently working on their second concept album titled Blurry Photos Of The Inanimate.
