Synopsis
Two sisters say goodbye to the only house they have ever lived in.
This house is a refuge, but also a burden and a weight.
It is memory, but also a wound. Through dance, words, and movement, The House Left Empty is a farewell ritual to a space that became too heavy to inhabit.

About the director
Juana Orbegozo is an audiovisual artist interested in the mix of documentary processes and medium experimentation. The House Left Empty is her first short film. She has worked in the audiovisual industry as an editor, and editing remains one of her strongest creative tools, through which she explores rhythm and form as a language of its own. She is currently editing the feature film Memorias de un Copiloto, directed by Diego García Moreno, while developing her next project, Ruda, which brings together Latin American esoteric practices, cumbia, and Bogotá’s nightlife scene.
