Synopsis
When Micha comes back from Auschwitz, he expects to find back his wife, Zelda, and his son, Dan. Zelda is there, but not Dan. Zelda cannot explain what happened to him-she has her lost memory of everything. But the peculiar conditions of the night will help her regain remembrance of things past.
About the director
Oliver van Malderghem, film editor for 15 years, directed documentaries when possible. The hanged dog tree is his first fiction film. In parallel, he teaches and writes film theory.
