synopsis Everything is on autopilot. A bicycle propels forward with no rider and adolescent boys make internet videos. At home, Mark's family drifts in isolation, escaping the lazy afternoon, when reality circles back. director Born 1981 in Springfield, Colorado, J.B. Herndon drove cattle and plowed fields on the family farm before studying at Brown University. His first short film, THE SOLDIER'S WIFE, screened at festivals such as the Locarno International Film Festival and South by Southwest. He received the Jerome Foundation's Media Arts grant for the production of AUTOPILOT, his second short. He is based in Brooklyn, NY.
