Synopsis

Violent waves crash over the cliffs of 'El Tirane' a small fishing village in Margarita Island whose fish market is run by generations of local women. Matilde, a young mother, silently endures repetitive abuse from her husband, but must react before her son also becomes his victim, or worse yet learns to follow in his father's footsteps. But Tana, Matilde's humble but strong mother, and the boss of the women workers at the market, refuses to remain passive before her son-in-law's abusive behavior
