Reality submits to kinetic abstraction to create a graceful and looping path along the Yangtze River. In beautiful black and white, this quiet and meditative river tour often confounds preconceptions and disputes the authenticity of the journey on which we have embarked.

About the director
John Rash is a documentary photographer, installation artist, and filmmaker from North Carolina. His work is regarded for exploring the moving image as an extension of the still photographic practice communicated through juxtaposition of materials and dynamic scale. John earned his MFA in Experimental and Documentary Art from Duke University, and currently works for Duke Kunshan University in Kunshan, China.
