Synopsis
A girl with a bald spot meets a boy with a worm. "Meta," explores with honesty and simple detail, the universal teenage struggle to find love and save face.
About the director
Marcella's first movie-making experience came while in college, during a six-month stay in southern India. While in India, Marcella kept a video journal and studied Bharatnatyam (a form of classical Indian dance). She used this footage to create a 30 minute documentary on the native dance, "Stepping Into Indian Culture". Meta is her thesis film and was completed in October, 1999. Currently, Marcella is writing a feature script and producing/directing internet TV.
