Synopsis

An American husband and wife, who have embarked on a pilgrimage to Ghana, West Africa, present a special gift of dance to the Asante people, symbolizing their ancestral kinship with Africa and their gratitude for all the beauty and wisdom Africa has given the world.

About the director

The Nanas Morrow, a husband and wife creative team, have had multifaceted careers as filmmakers, choreographers, educators and scholars. They are founders and directors of the traveling JAZZ DANCE MINISTRY for RACIAL RECONCiLIATION, PEACE AND HEALING through which they developed a framework for using the art form ofjazz dance to break barriers, build bridges and create the beloved community between people of different cultures and races. Recognized as goundbreaking and transformational, this interactive approach to peacemaking has been experienced in communities across the U.S.
