Synopsis
START TO FINISH documents drummer Vijay Anderson, as he performs his own written score to a Benny Goodman recording within a set designed to amplify the risk, and subvert the payoff of his playing.

About the director
JEFF KAO received an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1994. The three years prior to graduate school, Kao spent in the Niger Republic of West Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where he developed a die-hard love of the absurd taken to the level of disorientation.
