Philip Thompson (b. 1999) is an award-winning Brooklyn based filmmaker. His work explores the human condition through an experimental narrative lens. He was raised by his mother, his father, and his television.
Filmmaker's note
I, like many others, had lots of difficulty trying to create work during the COVID-19 pandemic, and instead spent that time watching television shows where people were creative all the time. I wanted to make a film that explored the emotional state of creating art for your career when the pandemic caused nothing but feelings of confinement, hopelessness, and depression.
