Filmmaker's note

This film is light, enjoyable and fun. However, it also provides a commentary on how we can lose meaningful connection with each other.

Unable to form a relationship with humans, seven-year-old Jacopo Conti finds friendship with a cat. Trying to escape from a lifeless home, the two of them ride through the empty streets of Florence on a Vespa in search of adventure.

And yet, through all the twists and turns, Jacopo still manages to stay forgiving and full of life, unscathed by those who reject him in the beautiful city of Florence, which is full of music and colour.
