Synopsis
Taking place in a "perfect" future world, this music video describes the effects of everyone being a flawless person: Interaction is futile, as everybody looks and is the same. This leads into loneliness. Bored of this dull life, a few try to escape by making themselves unique and interesting: they mess up their hair or break their noses. Imperfection becomes a way of self-expression. As more and more people "get hurt", the media and beauty industry catch up with the trend, pushing it to the limit until, once again, everybody looks and is the same.
About the director
Thomas Kiel, born in 1976 in Werne/Germany, graduated from school in 1996 and started to work as roadie, lighting tech and web designer. Since 2002, he is attending the FH Hannover, design and media department, specialising in Multimedia.
Nico Vogelsang was born in 1978 in Osnabrück, Germany and finished school in 1999. He went through several apprenticeships in advertising agencies and studied at the FH Hannover design and media department in 2002, specialising in Multimedia. After 6 months at the New York motion graphics studio Eyeballnyc, in 2006 he went back to Germany and co-founded Tonictrix. Since that day he's been working in the Motion Graphics industry and is focusing on independent projects like "The Last Battlefield".
